Introduction to Massage Therapy Workshop
Start your journey in the massage therapy profession with our Introduction to Massage Workshop at Sena College of Massage Therapy.
This comprehensive program covers the profession's history, how the profession is governed in BC and Canada, as well as basic theory, and fundamental massage strokes for a full-body relaxation experience. Designed as a prerequisite for the Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) Program, this workshop empowers you to make an informed decision about pursuing the two-year diploma. Join us in discovering the potential of massage and kickstart your path to becoming a skilled and knowledgeable practitioner.
This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. As such, PTIB did not review this program.
Admission Requirements
English Language Proficiency for students whose first language is not English (any of the following):
Grade 12 English 50% or higher
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 7.5 or above Band score
Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) 9 or above score
Successful completion of a post-secondary English Course from a recognized institution
